Hand Made Gift Bag using November Stamp of the Month and Santa's List D1383

I made this Christmas Gift Bag from a plain lunch bag. I cut 2 inches off the top of the bag itself and then adhered the stripe paper, from Creative Basics to both the front and back of the bag.

Then to make the gingerbread house (inspired by Karen Pederson) I embossed with white embossing powder on Chocolate paper. Then for Santa's fur trim and the rooftop I used Liquid Applique and Prisma Glitter and then heat set. It really helped to add that extra dimension.

Then on to the roof (or top of bag) I took a piece of White Daisy C.S. and cut it to 6" and as wide as the bag was. Then scored down the middle and used a scallop punch for the edges. Then I cut a piece of Juniper C.S. 5 1/4" by width of bag and adhered to white piece. Then punched 2 holes evenly where the scoring was done and fed the ribbon through to make a handle.

The girls could hardly wait to go rake the leaves and play in them! Made for some great photos!

Oct. Layout for Scrap & Chat Club

I love how this layout came together, especially after scraplifting it from Cheryll Jorgensen! I just wish I could figure out how to turn the photo! For right now I guess you will just have to turn your head to the left to see how it turned out. Hehe...

The paper used is from one of the newest paper packs called "Grace". Love this paper!!!

Girls Tennis Lessons

Alli and Tori with their tennis coach Andy. Andy was an incredible teacher! He made learning the art of tennis so much fun for the girls.

This is a picture that Madi (our 4 year old) took of Terry and I, and I loved it! It seems so often that I am the photographer and I realize the importance of actually getting in the pictures myself. So thank you Madi!!!

I am finally getting around to posting some of the pictures from our Grand Opening of our new salon. What a dream come true! I am so blessed to have 2 businesses that I love (scrapbooking and making people look their best)!

We had a wonderful turn-out, approx. 60 people attended our Grand Opening. It sure was a fun day, but boy am I ever glad to have that behind me! Now to get the word out about our salon. Here is the other layout that I did for the Idea Book. It is of our youngest daughter, and her teddy named, Minty. So adorable! She loves that teddy bear so much and even has several outfits for Minty to wear, including a matching outfit (which is in the pictures).

I had the honor of being asked to do artwork for the newest Close To My Heart Idea Book. Wow, what an honor!!! It was so much fun to play with, yet difficult because I only had the one paper packet and stickers to work with. There was no room for boo boo's. Our girls were thrilled to see their pictures in the Idea Book!
