Girls Christmas Photo
Every year I try to come up with a new idea or prop for our Christmas card. This year I found the silver, glittery snowflakes at the Dollar Store. They were perfect and went so great with the dresses. And what a deal! I then strung them up with fish-line and hung them. Now I need to get busy on getting my Christmas cards out!

Mystery Hostess Project
We made this 2 page layout at my Mystery Hostess Night last week. The paper used Creative Basics Evensong Collection. Stamp sets used were the December Word Puzzle D1313
, and the Oct. stamp of the month. For the "Joy" title I used the font Daydream from the Font CD, Volume 2. And of course I had to use sparkles. The sparkles were clear. I just colored over the tops with a red permanent marker. I love these sparkles!

"Tradition" Layout
O Christmas Tree
I have been busy decorating for Christmas and pulled out this Advent Christmas Tree that I made 2 years ago. It is one of my daughters favorite decorations! Each day they love to pull out the treats inside of each box.
I made the tree using match boxes. I don't think I will ever run out of matches...lol. I simply covered the boxes with paper and then decorated the front and back of each box. Each box was done with different decorations. Hope you enjoy! If you make one for yourself, I'd love to see what you come up with!

Snowflake Transparency Card
1. Stamp your image on transparency using Archival Black or Black Staz On.
2. Next mix a couple of drops of re-inker with Create-A-Shade Pearl Paint. I used Close To My Heart, Crystal Blue. And then paint on the center of your card. I used a dauber to do this.
3. Next line up your transparency stamped image, to make sure the paint is covering enough of the paper so that it extends a little bit outside your stamped image. Then remove the transparency.
4. Now you can stamp your sentiment using the same color ink as what you used to mix with you paint color.
5. Take the transparency and line up over your card and punch 2 holes and then secure with ribbon. I then added some Sparkles to the transparency and wha la. This card is much prettier in person and has lots of sparkle.
This card was inspired by my friend, Sara Curl. She showed me a card she made using a Christmas Tree stamp set. It was so darling I had to try and make my own version, using Close To My Heart products. Thank you, Sara for sharing your creativeness!!!

Hand-made Christmas Ornament
This hand-made ornament was made with the Nov. Stamp of the Month. I first stamped on transperency with archival black ink. To color the image I used permanent markers and white pearl paint. I then used my Coluzzle and cut a circle out, but not all the way around. I left a tab at the top so that I would have someting to attach in the inside of the glass ornament. I used a mini glue dot to adhere the transperency to the top of the ornament. Ta da...
It is much cuter in person! Hard to see all of the details. I made this one for my Secret Sister on our CTMH cruise. Hope you enjoy!

After posting pictures of my girls, I thought I'd better add a photo of my wonderful best friend and husband, Terry. This photo was taken on our Mediterranean cruise in Oct., 2008. There aren't many photos of just us, unless you go back to our wedding or dating photos. Isn't he a cutie?!!! I just love him to pieces. When we got home from our trip, friends and family asked "what was your favorite part of the trip?", I said spending time with Terry! I know, it sounds corny, but we really don't get much time together just us. What wonderful memories we have!

Tori is in Keynotes
I was so excited to see that Close To My Heart used this photo of Tori for their artwork in the Nov./Dec. 2008 issue of Keynotes. The upcoming Heart of Winter Promotion looks amazing, and I can hardly wait for it to come! Actually the photo of Tori was used in the artwork using the NEW Key To My Heart. She looks so grown up!!!
When Tori saw the picture in the brochure she screamed with delight. So tickled for her!

Gobble 'til you Wobble
Gobble 'til you Wobble....how accurate is that statement?
I can hardly wait for Thanksgiving!!! It is my favorite holiday of the year! I love to get together with family and loved ones and share a relaxing day of eating all kinds of goodies. I am sure that I will gobble 'til I wobble!
I designed this layout for my Scrap & Chat Club. The title was made by printing a CTMH font on transperency. The font I used was "Lemonade Stand" from Volume 1. For the feathers on this cute turkey I stamped them with the Playful Petals stamp set. Colors used are Autumn Terracota, Honey and Barn Red (all CTMH). Paper is from Magic Moments.

Christmas Card Using Evergreen Stamp Set
I scrap-lifted this card from Pam Kukacka and made a few changes to make it my own. I stamped the tree on the base of the card and then again on another piece of paper and cut it out. Then cut out tree was then folded in half and glued to the center of the tree. I thought it would be darling to add some dimension to the card. Oh and of course I had to add prisma glitter!!!

My baby's first day of pre-school
Getting Back To Blogging
I am finally getting back to my blog spot. It seems to be the way of the future. I love to read other blogs and thought that I myself should get back to it again. So here goes.
With Fall in the air I thought that for my club we would make a layout about family. What a wonderful topic and this is such a great time of year to get outside and get some awesome family pictures.
The layout is from Cherish and now for the life of me I can't remember which layout it was. The papers used were from Enchanted and we also used the new Chocolate alphabet. I think this will be my new favorite alphabet set to use.

Well here goes my first post
For my first post I am going to show a scrapbook layout I created for my Club memebers. I really like how the heart on the right side turned out! I used a transparency and stamped it with Versamark and then sprinkled with Close To My Heart silver pearl embossing powder. Then heat set it with my craft heater. I placed it over blush paper, but it could be used without and still look neat.
